History flat characters with no charisma who have absolutely no thrills me for one second, or maybe a little, especially Laura who's still more endearing Richard (really insignificant and loose) The love relationship between these two characters do me absolutely not convinced. The literary exchanges have bothered me terribly (references to persons unknown at least in my case). LONG, LONG, LONG. Good words and pompous phrases they may be enough to chuck everything ??? And in love I think the best stories are those of the extremes that attract rather than copy / paste ?? I actually think Laura was very lucky because it would have had a much gloomy life. It rather looks to Norm that will surely bring him a more exciting relationship. I would have liked a little more development of history that may exist between them. The beginning of the book could have been a bit more succinct and end a little more developed. I hesitated to stop playing but I always go after what I undertake I forced myself to finish. Some passages still nice with the children, her best friend ... the recall of its first extraordinary love story ...
