I want to give an impression about the new album from ESTK Masks here.
In a nutshell, one can say that the album has disappointed me in any way and it's fun to listen to it.
Admittedly I found until now every album of ESTK really good with me half the album White Lotus was too quiet.
The following songs are included on the album and get the following reviews:
1. Masks (5/5)
Small intro that is the right way has it all. In the beginning it comes to pretty quiet and mysterious. The sound makes you want more and the curiosity is aroused. And then suddenly a "rießen" Bumbs and the intro comes in the hardness and a skin. When an album starts so, then Holla the forest fairy.
2. Killing In Your Name (5/5)
Beautifully rocking song that not too much is in the hardness. Basic safety officer is probably the pure vocals and you have wanted to dispense with the screams of Cisko. The refrain has it, because this is sung by both Alexia and of Cisko. This interaction I found that the Album White Lotus really great. In summary, one can say it is more of a song that is also suitable for the radio.
3. Lost and Forgotten (5/5)
This song was the first thing I have known from the album. Together with a small video Lyrics I got the full benefit of the song. Super tough and einprägende Screams of Cisko and a beautiful chorus of Alexia. However, I must say that at first the chorus sounded a bit strange. After a few times listening, I liked the refrain but very good. Is "We are not free, we are lost and forgotten" The best thing about the song remains the hard, impacting and horny Screams of Cisko.
4. Where I Want To Be (4/5)
Who now thinks "hmmm, the name of the song tells me what" who has guessed right, because this song was already on the album White Lotus. Now it would have been boring if you had simply taken the song so. No, you have so to say "Where I Want To Be 2.0" of it made. However, I have to say that (on White Lotus), I found the first version better because the strong voice of Alexia better came to light, so I have to deduct one point.
5. True Colors (4/5)
True Colors has a lot of potential, but can not skip to 100% of the spark. The screams of Cisko are again very hard and-closing, however, impacted by the frequent change of pace all a bit uncoordinated. This is my impression. Even the chorus can not quite make an impact. This song is one together as "Killing In Your Name" more likely to be radio hits of the album. "Keep on running, Keep on running" ---> Absolute highlight song!
9. The New Plague (5/5)
Another extremely hard song, which can be tamed only by the brief quiet passages of Alexia. What you get here in the song, you knew in still no album ESTK. This hardness, this aggression, no that's not ESTK. So we take it again the album cover in your hand and look at it to see if there really is ESTK plan. Hmm yes the stands on it. WOW, it has changed a lot during the band's history. A real bomb!
10. Infected (5/5)
The second song, I knew before the release of the album. There is also a video that you can put each warmly to the song. Again, I would say again that the song is more closely associated in the Radio League and but there stirring up properly. The chorus is easy memorizing and goes off right. In fact you could the song for a movie in which everything is destroyed degree use super. The best example that you do not always need to have Screams a good song.
11. Secrets Between (5/5)

Conclusion:
Since Cisko had joined in 2010 to the tape, you have noticed it, the band has changed and the positive. Many songs were harder and especially better. It may be that he has Alexia accompanied by his singing or shone through extremely precise and strong Screams. It's just as fun to listen to. What I found beautiful in the album White Lotus, was that you could finally hear something has a hammer-voice Alexia actually. In the earlier albums, the voice was not as strong emphasized and exploited.
By and large, I would talk about the BEST album of ESTK. However, what has surprised me, was that there was no quiet or no ballad on the album. I find, however, not bad at all.
The album can not just create any old ESTK fan, but also anyone who is not as familiar with the band and rather harder music like.
