Much has been reported about Vanquish. That's why I want to focus on the alleged Kritikpunte and a few, but for me decisive advantages of Vanquish.

Criticisms:

- Overloaded control: Yes, that is true, perhaps at the beginning or if you've played the demo. At the latest in the 2nd Act they passes into the blood, because you have to master easy!
- Game time: after 5 hours by one. That's enough for most to reproach the shooter the disproportionality of the price. But Vanquish is loading formally a play through the game multiple times! Not because of the story, but for the replay value! The aim is to improve his technique, to be faster, and the challenges to crack. Only then can Vanquish its full potential!
- Missing MP mode. Yes, Vanquish goes alone and it would have been nice to see how an MP fireworks would have looked in the Vanquish World. CONCLUSION: Vanquish is a konsequnt developed by old school tradition Shooter which enters no compromises: No genre mix with slow passages from agents shooters, no multiplayer orientation as Battlefield single player campaigns. Vanquish wants only one thing: Tough and incredibly fast action, all wrapped in an intuitive control and a game system, which could be from the 80s. Anyone remember Probotector / Contra, knows what awaits him in Vanquish: Epic boss fights and no second rest.

While Vanquish uses given genre conventions from Uncharted, Gears of War or diversenen other shooters, but overall Vanquish offers a package that is nowhere to be found. And that Vanquish is fresh and lively and shows that Japanese development team can make Shooter ... The Krea tivie potential in Japan has been far too little exploited, if materials such as Neon Genesis Evangelion, Ghost in the Shell and Co. look at ! Even though I'm not a fan of Anime and Vanquish was executed brushed on the Western market, the Japanese origin is unmistakably.
