BRILLANTISSIME, INCONTOURNABLE

Marie Antoinette (Paperback)

Customer Review

All the talent Stephan Sweig is to successfully dissect the psychology of his characters, to analyze why and how of each of its actions. His biography of Marie Antoinette is brilliant, perfectly documented historically, reads like a historical novel, and we enter the character's skin. If you do not have to read a book about this character, it must be that one. I will however also agrees to read "Marie Antoinette, the rebellious" Simone Bertière, which brings a slightly different lighting and pasionnant also, besides making frequent reference to the book.
