Customer Review

The debut album of the young James Morrison became the big bang in the music scene. With a whole album full of potential radio hits, the young Briton won the hearts of his listeners. It is difficult to come by in the future to his songs.

Morrisson thrilled to sing primarily for his passionate and already totally routine and callous sounding kind. The simply genially arranged and above average produced songs give her rest now. Such productions one is from the island but then rarely used.

Morrisson move smoothly on to the likes of Jamie Cullum. However, with a huge pinch of more pop. That leaves the listener but, given its catchy melodies and soulful vocal power with which they are presented, usually cold.

Already the perfectly arranged opener "Under The Influence" generated much Amtmosphäre and dynamics that every thought fast device to the mainstream pabulum into oblivion.

But the one man's meat is another man's poison, and one must be sure to take in the music of the big fun and find it. Who for well-crafted pop music with a great shot Soul nothing left, here is definitely out of place.

However, it falls after repeated through the plate rather hard to believe that not for everyone is here.

Here not shot at the mainstream of the listener targeted nerve. Far from the 08/15-Pop yodelling gives Morrisson its songs with lots of passion and above all great credibility its completely own touch.

The whole album is supported by a great band, by many, well placed and playful little things, for the necessary fine-tuning ensures. Here and there flashed wind instruments or strings on how consistently strong backround chants, ensure properly more dynamic. But the greatest emphases are placed by the great keyboards that lead right through the album.

Who wants to know about the famous Single compilations taken out more about James Morrisson, should his debut "Undiscovered" necessarily specify. Only songs like the title track "Undiscovered", "Call The Police" or "The Letter" an overview of the entire musical spectrum of exceptional talent. From soulful ballads, catchy about Soul numbers to energetic pop rock songs, this album exudes its optimistic charm.

As I said it will be hard to come by, in the near future in mind. Because only the album title fits now not at all more to James Morrisson. But this problem could be solved with yes then another Silberling. But not the only reason why one must certainly look forward to!

Until then, 5 stars for a great debut.
