In 1969 a song in the charts of the deeply impressed. It was "Son of a Preacher Man" and the singer was Dusty Springfield. The album from which came the song was "Dusty in Memphis". The idea to record the soul voice of England with the first-class musicians and producers of Stax Studios in Memphis, turned out to be awesome. The income from this is just perfect. A Memphis-Soul Album first class, beautifully arranged and orchestrated and harmonious easily adapted to Dusty's hoarse voice, which in turn attracts all vocal register. Besides the aforementioned "Preacher Man" are "Just a Little Lovin '", "Breakfast in Bed", "I Do not Want to Hear It Anymore", "Just One Smile" and "So Much in Love" highlights a album without weaknesses. The new edition comes up with excellent sound quality and an informative booklet. Eight tracks are played as a bonus in mono. In my view, would be the outtakes on offer at the American edition, have made more sense. Nevertheless, it is and remains a classic, the time could not hurt.
