paperback comic album hardcover old rigid (1947/1938) relating the eighth adventure of the famous characters created by Hergé; the eighth adventure of the famous hero of Hergé belongs to the pre-war works (cars and planes are dated from this period) apart Tintin, Snowy, the Thompsons and their antics, the main character who appeared in this episode is the Milanese nightingale Bianca Castafiore, much later we find in many occasions to T in Picaros; otherwise the plot makes us travel in the Balkans where both countries to confront political regimes opposed the kingdom of Ruritania and Borduria, with a heavy atmosphere of warlike threats evoking the troubled times and announcing the Cold War); finally a classic we all already read but which nevertheless gives an intense pleasure to read; cheap occasions it is quite hard for this version that allows to renew a collection that has suffered over time; this rigid version is best for the library but this is not a real binding because the leaves can come off like a paperback version so try to be cautious when handling (this is wishful thinking especially with children)
