I for myself will not acquire Komperdell product more because I did not so good experiences with these sticks. Here my ordeal: ;-) Couple Ordered 1, super fast receive (thanks Amazon) unpacked, tried in the basement and did not have one of the latches. The other floor went flawlessly !!! Well then the next day complaining sticks online, repackaged and sent back. Two days later the replacement poles came (again thank you Amazon) but I was already in the 14-day annual holiday. Home re-open the same package and checked whether everything goes, this was the same way. On Saturday it was a 45km hike planned in Spessart where I wanted to take the sticks, but nothing came of it has since given up the ghost even with this pair a lock. In itself, the sticks are great, as light and strong, but if I can not rely on a product myself, then I can do it in our walks for I wanted to use not. Super is that the poles are lightweight and have to be a great finish, but it weighs the defect I had in 2 different pairs not, for me never again applies Komperdell !!! Now have the Sherpa XL Leki Speed Lock and am excited (even if it is slightly heavier), but these sticks I can rely on !!!
