I bought this book as a gift, even before the appearance of the comments on Amazon, but it arrived a day too late and it finally stayed home ... good as the pictures make you want, style is sober, it seems that not laugh, but we'll get to work and we will succeed. And it's true: we succeeded! I already tried the lemon cake (a pure delight with crispy dough like I never thought the power succeed) and the carrot cake (another pure delight, who enjoyed all ages in my family). I look forward to get to the next ... but actually, there are many calories in, so you have to brake a little momentum of 'chef'.
On the other side, the style is relatively simple, sometimes a little one would be more technical details (I do not know for example how the cake with carrots remained flat audessus to add a layer of frosting ... my cake has swollen and I had remetre the glaze next to the edge trim ...). I feel that only details that are essential for success were provided, which is not bad (you can easily get lost or no longer want to try it there are too many constraints in a recipe).
