Until recently, only directly available from the manufacturer in the UK, there are the "Nerd silicone rubber" now available at Amazon. The ease of processing make it ideal for casual DIYer. Just into the desired shape kneading, let it rest overnight and finished. Keeps very well to other materials, making it well suited for repairing.
