This update my previous review is now from 10.05.2014 and numbered the set newly offered
with the new 1180mAh Baxxtar Pro Series batteries incl. the new charger with the model name 1805th
Recently, this offer is now renewed for 3 times, until 19 January 2014, was a set with a power adapter and
2 normal 1050mAh battery Patona, followed by the Set of red 1050mAh Baxxtar batteries and the new more powerful charger
with 600mAh charging current, and immediately with the currently available set in the form of the charger 1805 and the Baxxtar Pro Series
Batteries with 1180mA.
Since I had purchased all 3 sets for testing, I want to share my experiences here now.
Delivered each was a complete set, ie charger and appropriate charging cradle incl. All
Connectivity (Micro USB, Euro plug, 12V car plug), each enclosed cable and the 2 batteries.
Qualitatively do charger and batteries a good impression, insertion / removal of batteries into / from charger or
GoPro work without problems, difficulty inserting / removing of different sizes
the battery to the original (AHDBT-301) I can not make out only the outer shell of Patona and Baxxtar battery is
a little thinner than like the original, being here but felt no disadvantage arises.
In a calibrated balance I have weighed all batteries and came to the following weights:
1. Original 1180mAh Battery GoPro AHDBT-301 --- 25.89 g
2. First Patona 1050mAh battery from the offer set to 01/19/2014 --- 23.39 g
3. second Patona 1050mAh battery from the offer set to 19/01/2014 --- 23,70 g
4. First 1050mAh battery from Baxxtar bid set to XX.XX.2014 --- 25.0 g
5. Second 1050mAh battery from Baxxtar bid set to XX.XX.2014 --- 25.0 g
6. First 1180mAh Baxxtar Pro Series battery from the current bid set --- 23.1 g
7. Second 1180mAh Baxxtar Pro Series battery from the current bid set --- 23.4 g
These are some pictures including notes, see the link below.:
But now the most important part of the evaluation, namely the maturities of these batteries.
Each battery has been fully charged 3 times with the matching power supply unit and the maximum load allowed in a
GoPro Hero 3 + Black Edition tested with 1080p Wide 48 frames (PAL) and the resulting calculated average.
Submit hour (s): minutes: seconds
1. Original 1180mAh Battery GoPro AHDBT-301 --- 02:03:48
2. First Patona 1050mAh battery from the offer set to 01/19/2014 --- 01: 55:24
3. second Patona 1050mAh battery from the offer set to 19/01/2014 02:02:19 ---
4. First 1050mAh battery from Baxxtar bid set to XX.XX.2014 --- 01:46:32
5. Second 1050mAh battery from Baxxtar bid set to XX.XX.2014 --- 01:46:17
6. First 1180mAh Baxxtar Pro Series battery from the current bid set --- 01:52:41
7. Second 1180mAh Baxxtar Pro Series battery from the current bid set --- 01:54:18
For Power Supply with 600mAh charging current is to say that it, in my opinion better than the Patona charger from the first set up
to 19.01.2014 is, since the recharge a completely discharged battery takes only about 2 hours, it also has a further connection more.
On a positive note, that the provider bundle Star at introducing both new sets no price increase
has made, all sets have been the same purchase price obtained as the Vorgängerset.
Since the original GoPro products have a relatively high purchase price and the sets of Star Bundle are extensive and
represent a good alternative, I can issue a recommendation to buy, at the end I forgive now 4 stars for this currently offered kit.
