The CD has a total running length of 76 minutes and it is so far the only CD that I like from start to finish by hear in one or two moves and I feel even after repeated listening nor very angehnem. Curse like "over-Christian" background in relation to Xavier Naido 1000 times better than the latter by the very personal effects and everyday remuneration and the nonexistent. Why Curse gets so little attention, is for me incomprehensible (See On the contrary, the review boom that albums by Xavier Naidoo, Sido and Bushido experience). Unlike many other Curse supporters I am but no one who would say, Curse is lyrically the best MC or rapper Germany. In certain moments I hear rather Curse, in other times prefer something less statements more artists like Sido or Bushido. I would agree with anyone who would say Curse has in his songs and albums the most substantive matter.
Every song has an average duration of 2 minutes and the transitions are very nicely done fluently, which never boredom or an "excess" of a song comes up that you do not want to hear. The originals of the songs are of course (!) Much longer than on the present CD. Even for people who are "internal security" and "inside out" have the previous albums "fire water", this CD will be a great addition. First, because the songs in this version and in this context act quite differently. Second, because less than half of the 41 tracks come from the 3 mentioned albums. There are mostly exclusive tracks and guest appearances with which Curse on the CDs of other artists occurred (for example, "If I had children," from the album "Everything for the Lord" by Xavier Naidoo;. "Careful (Click, Click)" (Everything -Real-Mix) from the corresponding Maxi of Wu-Tang Clan).
Why then I advise against the purchase of the CD?
Currently "insight Back!" Costs (at Amazon.com) 8,95 and the "Sinnflut (2nd Edition)" Curse of 12,95 Euro. In earlier times the price savings on the purchase of the combination compared with the individual CDs was even clearer. The "Sinnflut (2nd Edition)" includes both Curse 2005 published and current Album "Sinnlflut" and "insight Back!".
"Deluge" is by its larger track lengths considerably less entertaining than "look back". By having 18 tracks on 75 minutes extend (!), You just can not so beautiful by listening in. Nevertheless, it contains a few truly brilliant tracks that I listen to over and over again. Some are "left, right" and "24" tracks, which I have often listened to and they (unlike most albums that I own) probably in the long run every now and then very happy to listen to. With "Broken Langue Reloaded", the Curse has made together with Samy Deluxe, the album also contains a more relaxed track.
I got the other reviews the way all (!) Rated as helpful. At the moment I have a feeling that most reviewers were concerned only about the helpful reviews that they get themselves and rate barely other reviews. Only when it comes to "not helpful" to evaluate a review as, of course, are always all there ...
