This is an update to my review of July 07, I rate the console now with 4 stars. For about six months I am now the owner of an Xbox 360. I was very excited and can agree with the positive statements only. And the games selection is good and is getting better. The console is thus nearing its peak when it comes to the quality of the games and the utilization of technology. Recently, however, came with me to the fatal system errors "Ring of Death" or "Trilod" a. Ok, Microsoft fixes the bug within the warranty period free of charge, but you will never get their own but always a replacement console back which was previously repaired. This is unsatisfactory and always costs several weeks waiting time! And there is no guarantee that the exchange console not again breaks. The mentioned system error accumulates for some time in the Community - the Internet is now full of forums where the problem is described. Microsoft has now officially taken position and extend the warranty period for the ROD case for a year. The new consoles allegedly already have a Hardwarefix which the cooling of the board improved, as well as the already repaired consoles. Nevertheless, I recommend to avoid trouble and to prolong the life of the box, alternative, additional solutions for improved cooling. After the warranty immediately an internal fan should (cooling solutions exist abundantly) are installed - the installation is carried out by external providers. A quick search on Google brings digestion. Before you can make do with simple and inexpensive means, such as the external fan by Logic3, although it has a small but possibly decisive effect.
