I had to buy this cable because it was not provided with either the motherboard or with the case! I have received a defective model: it works well with USB2 devices. But in this USB3 spoils: with my 2.5 "hard disk Lacie 500GB USB3, it raises problems of unwanted disconnections Certainly a power problem .... So I give 1 star ... But the AVID SAV service immediately refunded me when I do them part of the problem ... So I put a second star for the service of AVID :)
I spotted a model of another brand (Icy Box), I'll order it for testing. ; = 1 & psc smid = A1X6FK5RDHNB96 I have a comment to say whether it works well or if it's the same.
