A 2TB disk behaves quietly and works flawlessly.

The plate lies better than my Logilink Docking Station and a 3TB disk vibrates at Cabstone less.

With a 3 TB disk of 800GB WD only appear on USB. On Linux and MacOS. The docking station of the competition Logilink shows only 2.2 to TB.
ESATA 3 TB appear at this station and at Logilink. Possibly it is because of the plate.

Since it is usually faster, you should use eSATA if you can.
