Even as a non-fan, I like to listen into Best-Ofs. Tears for Fears offer early Britpop in the tradition of Duran Duran, Trevor Horn bands and even some of the early Depeche Mode. Be called hits you but even merciful only half. I guess "Sowing the seeds of love", "Everybody wants ...", "Mad World", "Change", "Advice for the young at heart" and of course "Shout". Since unmistakable ideas are each incorporated also in producing. Unfortunately the rest, however, refused to my ear. Three and a half stars.
