Strangers Almanac (Deluxe Edition) (Audio CD)

Customer Review

I've only met with Ryan Adams, when he made his debut with "Heartbreaker" solo. Why the hell would I wrestle me only now through to buy the Whiskeytown albums? The evidence of the same high quality songwriting, to which one can rely to date with Ryan Adams. At least I come as a new customer now equal to an even more extensive musical enjoyment, because in the spring of 2008 seemed a luxury edition of the 1997 so hyped "Stranger's Almanac". If already collect Whiskeytown, then I cross the same for this new edition. Since indeed some strong numbers on it, which I had not had in the original, but there are also some duplication. Approximately half the album is in alternative acoustic or early versions, added cover versions and previously unreleased material. For those interested there is a booklet with 7 pages factual text. The lyrics are missing, but music is not there to read.
