Bobby McFerrin hit with "Medicine Music" again the bridge between sound art, cult music and pop. The title form a wide variety, ranging from "Soma says de la de SASE", a quiet piece with almost a quaint character, to "sweet in the mornin '" which pivots already towards Soul, or until "He ran all the way ". McFerrin songs represent something, ask the listener but to empathize with in the world of sound and integrate. The mixture of native music and McFerrin Multiple-track recording technology mix to music that can be fitted into any genre. One must on this CD is no worldwide hit like "Do not worry, be happy" expect, and partly shaped by Christianity content will not please any audience, because they may also provoke such as "The 23rd Psalm". Nevertheless, this CD has become one of my personal favorite CDs because McFerrin manages the connection of opposing cultures and comes around very nice music here.
