If it (even more than the also wonderful Bing Crosby-Zipfelmützen album) in this world is only one Christmas plate - here she is, Frank's Christmas masterpiece full of good x-mas classics - in collaboration with Gordon Jenkins and Nelson Riddle. The album has then even been in the charts, no wonder it's one of the best Frank Sinatra Capitol albums ever, even for Christmas muffle - and yet there is not one second a wrong theme. Repeating individual tracks would single out unfair, just as much, the CD is festive enough, even the sloppy prelude this grandest of all Jingle Bells versions or peppy Christmasl Waltz (two versions) could not even shock the most conservative Christmas. But also vice versa, which here truly supported versions of the "Christmas Song", "The First Noel", "Adeste Fidel" or "Silent Night" are full of musicality, voltage and energy. A MUST - this album may not be missing just when someone EITHER Frank or Christmas like ...
