The set consists of the following components:
- Handle unit including 1x CR2032 battery and adhesive for mounting. (Varta 6032101401 - Button cell CR 2032 Electronic SET 5x)
- Bell for the socket (without additional batteries)
The pusher unit is relatively plain white plastic. The doorbell button is gray-gummed and edged with a phosphorescent plastic ring that glows in the dark.
You can insert a name tag under clear plastic. The plastic cap can be easily removed with a small screwdriver.
The back of the unit can also be easily removed with a screwdriver, so you can inserting the battery.
As explained in the imaged display, a small switch (maybe 4 x 1 mm) located in the handle unit can be selected with the 8 different melodies (2 x Polyphonic Gong, 2 x saxophone, lighter tones and melodies).
For this purpose, however, the bell in the wall outlet must be plugged. Once you unpluging the doorbell, the power supply is off and the bell virtually from. The bell itself contains no batteries and no battery.
Because the melody but selected on the-powered pusher unit, the selection will be saved.
The volume of the ringer can be set at the bell in 4 different stages from the side. It sounds each time you press the bell in the respective volume.
The pusher unit can be glued using the supplied double-sided adhesive or screwed with screws. The screws are not supplied and to holes would have to be broken out of the lid.
Why 4 instead of 5 star - the bell sits a little shaky in my outlet.
The missing screws for possible fixing by screwing.
Otherwise, a good product for just under 30 euros.
