The lens is really very good with regard to the sharpness. The focus is OK in terms of speed. The build quality is up to the often-mentioned AF-MF "switch" quite well so far.

What has me very disturbed unfortunately are out Franzen, bright areas can be seen in 28mm everywhere. This falls well eg a sheet of paper on a dark table. Here it seems as if the leaf would be blurred, even though it is not.

Whether I only have a "Monday lens" caught or not I can not say exactly, but there have been several complained about this problem.

So if you want to work primarily with 12mm lens this is very good.
