I am 2010 with the second album saturnine come with Dante in touch - and it was then pretty quickly happened to me - "saturnine" has remained a mandatory part of my Progsammlung - and has earned my view much more attention. Clearly - Dante are still an insider tip geblieben- a band worth discovering. It would be the guys over to indulge that a wider public is aware of their albums - because what Dante have been delivered, has always been of vertiginous quality - great music somewhere between progressive rock (rather less) and Progressive Metal (rather more). In my view, they had perhaps even submitted the best prog album in 2010 with "saturnine". Realized that I was on the new album more than excited - and .. what can I say ... I am even more excited. The album is actually on a par with the great predecessors. Unlike perhaps - the Metal influence has increased somewhat in my opinion. The great "The Lone and Level Sands" or "Shores of Time" are good examples of this development. A veritable feast for the ears every fan of progressive music is the ingenious "The Day That Bled", "Birds of Passage" is preparing an introduction to measure and -with the title track "november red" once again is a masterpiece on the album that alone the purchase price is justified. Similarly, as was the case with "Vanessa" from its predecessor. For the lack of a pure instrumentals, how could it be found on its predecessor yet, I am personally quite grateful. Production wise, the band has also attracted - the album has become a really well-rounded.
Can only agree with the previous speaker - this album is quite clear for me the highlight of the first Progressive fledgling year. A little longer it lasted until November red lights properly - but when it does the first, but then the cottage ablaze. Failures on the album: in my opinion: ZERO. For two outstanding highlights: The Day That Bled and the title track.
The highest rating from me is because only a formality. I think anyone who only halfway appreciates this music but can not really do nothing at all wrong.
