"Finally the bomb!" Having spent many years Linksysfan I turned away after the WRT320N and WRT610N from this company. Both devices have remained hanging irreproducible. Times when accessing a NDAS which was located in the network and sometimes simply hung overnight. Only pull plug functioned again the equipment. See also my review for WRT610N. So I received the risk to buy a still fairly new WNDR3700, worse could it not be so. In various US forums already gabs exuberant applause to the device so I decided once to order. This was not a mistake as raustellt itself. Hammermäßer speed and not a single crash. In both networks 2.4GHz and 5GHz I transfer rates of up to 9,5MB / s port by USB !! The WRT610N Linksys costs 130 'and brings to the USB port 1.5MB / s. Maximum speed with the WRT610N were scarce 5.5MB / s at about 3m sichbarer crow. Everything tested in the 2.4 GHz network with 40MHz channel duplication. USB devices can be provided via FTP, also over the Internet. Interface language is completely German and firmware updates are automatically searched for and installed on the Internet. (Can be disabled) device is not nearly as warm as the Linksys. To access the USB shares unfortunately can not define a user. Only the router admin or all have access. DLNA client I have not tested because I have no such device. The range is also impressive. In 40MHz dual mode in which the operation range, however, the throughput is shorter bigger I got from one floor to the next still receive full and about 7MB / s speed. Client is a WUSB600N Linksys. With the WRT610N there were in the same place for about 3.5MB / s. All a worthy successor to my WRT54GL the shortly after the release is stable and usable in all. In the coming months certainly come betas also the first DD-WRT. It looks like you did everything right and brought out a tip router for reasonable price Netgear. Only the interface is a little slow. After confirming incurred settings Router seems every time to reboot which lasts about 1 minute. But ok, wenns of stability is conducive. ;) Various settings for QoS, port forwarding UPnP, etc. I have not yet been thoroughly tested.
