A year ago I did not know the name Apollo Brown. And now comes with "Dice Game" already the second album over within a year. His first match, "Trophies" with OC was already a grenade, for me perhaps the best rap album for a long time. I would hardly have believed it possible that this album can still be improved. Particularly with regard to the beats. But the unthinkable happened here on "Dice Game". The production is still a trace of fat and is determined again by many Soul samples and a Golden-Era sound like he had his little better to the mid-nineties. Above all, I find that even better harmonize here the rape with the beats. Guilty Simpson here shows my opinion his strongest performance, liked the guy ever. But here it is running on top form. I think all the tracks are rapped absolutely on point. Honestly, the album is for me now a true classic and I am running on heavy rotation. The only thing that would make things even better, would be a few scratches and cuts that because there are not what but nowadays probably is normal, unfortunately. The DJ's have the whole yes times found. But so be it. As I said, a rap album is in my opinion scarcely fetter.
