The subwoofer has different connection options. Speakers can be looped through, preamplifier can be connected or the subwoofer output of a receiver can be used. I plugged my Yamaha RX-375 with the subwoofer output to Line-In (R). Then the rubber connector off and on again. The Standby goes really well. Sends the attachment slightly to the sub then the LED goes back to green. If a to 2 minutes nothing goes from the sub and the LED to turn green. (Finally no disconnecting it Subs more ;-)). The sound of Subs integrates with me very well in my system. I have asked the regulator "crossover" to 50Hz (ie the subwoofer provides sounds right down to 50 Hz is). The amplifier power the subwoofer I have set to half. The sound is absolutely clean. No tugging or whatever. The bass pressure is very good feel. (My wife is the to Dolle, maybe I need to adjust something less ;-)). I am very pleased with the Magnat Monitor Supreme Sub 201A. He manages to easily enrich my 30sqm. We're away three to five meters and the subwoofer is the supplement. For this interesting: Yamaha RX-375, 2 * Quadral 3WAY speaker on the shelf as a front R / L, 1 * small 1Wege means (from cheaper surround system), the magnate Supreme Sub 201A as a subwoofer and 2 * smaller than 1Wege Rear R / L (from the cheaper surround system). I try on a budget to get good sound. Would the Magnat Monitor Supreme Sub 201A buy again: yes!
