Rich and colorful illustrated leads this book through the various characters. Each character is depicted and is provided with a fact sheet (First Appearance, Status, Real Name, Occupation, Base, Height, Weight, Eyes, Hair, Special Powers / Abilities) and an accompanying text with some information and stories. Here some are presented in more detail than others.
Partly certain heroes / villains double sides or more to be paid.
But there are not only presented the characters. In between, there are also thematic pages such as "Amazing Vehicles", "Amazing Weapon's" or "Great team-ups".
Overall, an interesting and richly illustrated book. It is clearly designed and beautiful, a quality image and is inserted in an envelope.
It provides a good insight into the varied DC Comics universe. With enough information, without being extravagant, the book serves its purpose as an encyclopedia.
Too bad I think it's just that it has been published only in English. The lyrics are quite easy to understand, but for me it would have been somewhat easier in German.
