The song of 2003 worked just wonderful with night driving shown in the film through the Big Apple. Since then, "Clocks" reminds me every time you hear of New York, my personal city of dreams.
The melody is like a reminiscing, dreaming of NYC, a drawing Duch the streets and the lights.
The song seems so very gentle and light as a feather yet extremely intense thanks to the well-tuned instruments and the wonderfully harmonious voice of singer Chris Martin, a rare and wonderful combination.
Also you move the basic tone is always a fine line between sad melancholic and cheerful cheerful. This is, incidentally, reflected also by the lyrics.
Even if I now do not have that very subjective associations, the song would go it alone because of its quiet but powerful mood fun to me.
"Clocks" is therefore suitable terrific to recharge your batteries, to relax and to himself dreams ... and you need but sometimes the most, right?
As you can tell I am completely thrilled with this song and even though I'm not a fan of the band Coldplay ausgesprochender.
To inspire me the other two tracks on the album next to Track 1 "Clocks" called Track 2 "Crests of Waves" and Track 3 "Animals" not such, but are also not really bad.
Conclusion: The beautiful melody of Coldplay's "Clocks" as well as my association with this make the song to a gentle, yet intense listening experience.
Thank you for reading my review.
