The Intro (= the title track) immediate results, a track that goes straight ahead. Surpassed this even with "White Knuckle Ride" what an absolute club hit for me (unfortunately the piece on the radio and in clubs will not play!). The following tracks are the CD is as far Overall ok quieter but no less audible. The last song "Hey Floyd" is another great track, which makes for a dramatic and a groovy completing the album.
Overall, I have no club-friendly hits or jazzy cool (long) Instrumentials. Nevertheless, the album is well audible, nice funky and harmonious. The CD linked to the typical EHR Jamiroqai sound of the 90s, but without too much not to fall contemporary structures in old. The album is all times far better than that - not successful for me - album "Dynamite".
Only a few tracks of "Rock Dust Light Star" dabble a little too much there, so I want to give an overall score of 4 points. So right away were never Jamiroquai, yet it has become a bit quiet around the band. Too bad. A kind of "comeback" is still pending ...
As a fan, I naturally indulged me the deluxe edition. The bonus tracks are overall ok. At the most convincing is the live version of rock Dust Light Star. The deluxe edition is for the fan certainly almost a must, but the standard CD will be sufficient for most listeners, especially as the price was lowered again (as at 12.07.2011)
So then ... keep on grooving
