+ Significantly better DSL modem than the 7390, almost at the level of 7270v3
Sync (each on "Maximum Performance"):
7270v3 + 3270v3: 12.1 Mbit to 2,4Mbit (~ 15-40 CRC errors per 15 minutes)
7390: 10,6Mbit to 2,2Mbit (here the line was extremely unstable, many CRC errors (some 1000 per 15 min) often led to the line termination)
7490: 11,5Mbit to 2,43Mbit (the 7490 has the Impulsstörschutz compared to the 7270 slightly increased by slightly less downstream but nearly 0 CRC ERRORS (~ 6-10 per 15 minutes)
+ Wi-Fi: Of course one of the TOP features the WLAN AC, I have directly ordered a repeater 1750!
The configuration was a little tricky, but the repeater usually clones the SSID (s), here kept disappearing the 5GHZ network.
After I had the SSID (s) provided by the repeater with its own name, there were no more losses on 5GHz.
Bandwidth (gross) between repeaters and Box (5m range, a load-bearing wall) 450Mbit on 2,4Ghz / 995Mbit on 5GHz).
+ DECT Range: Chill 3x higher than ever in the FB7390, which had also this gerreicht (~ 90m², routers placed almost in the middle, only one floor)
Where else I had a slight crackling now stands according to Fritz! Fon MT-F still full signal strength available.
USB: not tested Suffice it to say, there are now 2 and comply with the USB 3.0 standard, 5Gbps is one but rather not reach.
Negatives:
-The Only negative thing about the (supplied me) FritzBox is the smell.
The box is quite warm and it is believed the smell of charred Electrical true if you go to the box verbei, it is already a spare box to me on the way and I hope that this does not müffelt, I will report!
All in all I am quite satisfied, especially I was able to my tinkering solution improves (FB3270 as a DSL modem, behind FB7390) replaced by a box, this has all the negative aspects of the 7390 significantly.
Whether 200 (or just under 300 with repeaters) is investing to upgrade everyone must decide for themselves I hesitated long, but do not regret it.
If the spare box still retains the unpleasant smell with him I am completely satisfied.
