From the Canon I had promised from the outset more, partly because it has a light. This light is more or less meaningless. Late in the evening see the images very "dirty" from. Not blurred, but krieselig, as you would a TV station is not set correctly. The light only helps if you get very close to the film to the object.
In daylight, the Canon Legria FS200 makes very nice shots - even inside. The images are sharp and the colors very natural. Above all, the recordings thanks to the image stabilizer are very quiet. One can also very very slow zoom, and yet it does not wobble like crazy.
The Canon is very small, but still very handy and easy to use. On the menu you get used to quickly.
On the whole, a very nice camera. An asterisk I pull off, because I am as I said disappointed by the light and the night scenes a bit. But who is filming a lot at night, except maybe people who want to film their parties or their dinner by candlelight.
I would say that the Canon is a beautiful family camera. I, for example, will mainly document the life of my 7-month-old son. Since filming anyway rather in daylight. And when times but is determined to film the child while sleeping at night at 11, then at least disturbs the child's "flash" light the LED light .... :-)
Buy some prefer this camera before you are disappointed with all other in this price range. Incidentally, my friend said that one for night shots would be better to install a really big light anyway. The approach to this Canon, but I do not think ...
