We use the Bosch PBD 40 in the commercial sector, primarily to drill blind holes in relatively thin material (4 mm aluminum). Here we have two "correct" level drills, but these are too unwieldy and too big for this Anwendungszwck. After much deliberation we chose the Bosch PBD to give 40 a chance. Such devices apply with us actually as "toys" - "toys" is in this machine but only the completely meaningless laser. This would have been easy to save because it is simply inaccurate and disturbing. Otherwise, we were pleasantly surprised, of course, our other stand drills are much more precise but it is also dramatically more expensive, heavier and larger.
Compared to all other state drilling in the price range The drill is here often and long in use and meets their job well - if the price is considered very well.
There are for coarser work in which nevertheless a certain precision is required, and harder materials to our knowledge no alternative in this price range. ..and stay away from the (pseudo) state Drills Conclusion: For the price a great device - only the laser is superfluous because inaccurate. Who needs absolute precision, but should naturally think in different price ranges.
