I am the owner of both glasses, the 10 x 50 has a much larger field of view than the 8-16x40 Zoom DPS I.
even if you adjust the zoom to 8.
However, to get this binoculars just not as close ran as the 8-16x40

The sharpness is still a little bit higher for my taste in this glass [10x50].

The processing of the housing is in two almost equal. In this one bothers me
that Fokusierungsrad something unevenly hard going.

The Olympus 10 x 50 is, who wants to survey a large remote area absolutely sharp.

The Olympus 8-16x40 I take if I want to get closer, and I'm interested in only a very small screen area
