The Midas Trap (Silhouette Bombshell) (Paperback)

Customer Review

"The Midas Trap" is the first novel I've read from the Bombshell series, but if he is a typical representative, then the books from the series as entertaining and exciting adventures are highly recommended! Ever the novel moves more in the adventure track than in the romantic novel in which the reader of the Silhouette products are probably used to. Finally glue the protagonists not constantly together, because even if space for the relationship between the two exists, so the hunt is clear after artifact in the foreground. The characters are portrayed credibly, there are no unrealistic superman, and even with the substantial similarity of -äußerlichen- archaeologist Veronica Bright with the figure of Lara Croft will not geballert here, but more combined, climbed, swam and dived. The plot has hand and foot, author McClellan has little poetic license operated, leads the search for the mythical Midas-stone around the Mediterranean to the most interesting places: Rome and the Vatican, Turkey and finally the Greek Islands. The nearly 300 pages were so so good, it is possible filled with a colorful history and can be suggested to all readers with the urge for a short but good adventure as reading.
