After I called the Web interface, I was asked to install a new firmware. OK done.
With the included Windows software went the email notification. When I tried to make the settings directly on the camera surface, it was not. After a long search I have found the problem:
I use a very long e-mail password. The Windows software can handle it, the camera software is not.
After I found out, came the next problem. The settings for the e-mail were not stored in the camera. It was only when I used the Event Wizard, it went.
The e-mail delivery through the web interface did not work with me.
I did not geschaft that same time a recording is set and in addition an e-mail is sent. For me always was only one of them.
The maximum recording size of a video file is 5 MB. At each event a new video file is created. Since it can then sometimes happen that you get a lot of files, each with 10 seconds of film. The evaluation is then very mühsehlig.
