Much has been made of the first return Eminem (Relapse). Most critics and fans agreed to say it was an average album. The person himself seemed to find this first comeback rather poor. I'm not one of them. Certainly Recovery is a better album. It is even a great album. Maybe not as good as his first two works, true cornerstones of rap of the early century. But so far, with Recovery Eminem confirms the persistence of a flow like no other, a natural evil as a trademark that you twist the head to mark you deeply. The real difference with Relapse ultimately probably lies in this greater lightness which demonstrated MM and implacable hits (think "Not Afraid" and "Love the way you lie"). For the rest, there is always heavy on a production string and the presence of metal guitars confirming the taste of the man for this kind of music and that makes him the greatest rapper "rock" in the history of rap.
