In Forrest Gump it said once that life is like a box of chocolates because you never know what you get. That is quite a nonsense, it says on the box of chocolates, which is located inside. The situation is different in Therapy ?: In the unpredictable Irish have to be surprised with every new album. Following the success of their mega Sellers "Troublegum" (1994) could have been forgiven for thinking that the trio remains on the track of the catchy mix 'of punk rock and metal. But nothing there that would Therapy? have been too easy. Although there were a few more accessible album (highly recommended: "Infernal Love" of 1995), but they were, for example, "Suicide Pact - You First" (1999), or "Disquiet" -Vorgänger "A Brief Crack of Light" (2012) partially indigestible noise rock with no "Hitqualitäten". This does not mean that the said albums are bad - they're just not for the masses. "Disquiet" now actually comes therefore with catchy choruses and much less noisy than its predecessor. The chorus of the opener "Still Hurts" remembers even directly blessed "Troublegum" times. So straight as on the 1994 album go it Therapy? but not to some quirky Parts are represented at "Disquiet" - which is not too surprising considering a review of the previous discography. The new plate is virtually a cross-section of all Therapy? -publications Represents. An "Infernal Love", "High Anxiety" or of course "Troublegum" comes "Disquiet" get close, but it's nice that Therapy? still do their own thing.
