Consumes half power, is quieter and sucks at least as good as its predecessor!

For almost 1.5 years, we use the Philips FC8470 / 01 PowerPro Compact (so to speak its predecessor without ECO and 1600 watts of power)
Except for the floor nozzle and the adjustable intake manifold, the two sucker to 1 views are absolutely equal.
So I was pretty excited to see much on the contrast with the new Philips FC8477 / 91 PowerPro Compact ECO.

With the predecessor we are very happy today.
He is in daily use and I do not know what could make a device of this price range better.
The quality leaves nothing left to be desired.

As already mentioned, the new energy-efficient FC8477 / 91 does not look different from its predecessor.
Well, the choice of color of the plastic makes it look a little high.

The Philips is a bagless vacuum cleaner and just at this price you can experience its blue, or dusty wonders with other manufacturers.
Here Philips has a very sophisticated system.
The capacity of the dust container of 1.5 liters I think is a bigger apartment than absolutely sufficient.
At Philips we really just need to open the lid and empty the dirt, the system does not pollute nearly as fast as in other, bagless equipment (I already had a comparable Rowenta ...).

The dust and HEPA filters should be cleaned every 3 months, the HEPA filter traps 24 months.

But now the most important thing, the suction power.

Here I was a bit skeptical beforehand; can the 750 watts of FC8477 / 91 actually reach the (really good) suction power of 1600 Watts FC8470 / 01?
Here I can say very clearly; Yes!
And the FC8477 / 91 is actually also a bit quieter.

Again back to the power consumption.

We have a 150 square meter apartment and I go from an average of 15 minutes daily from suction period.
These are around 90 hours a year.
Euro per year - at a current price of about 27 cents / kWh, the savings to its predecessor almost 21, is.

Still worth mentioning.

Philips has a good range, the stable power cable has a length of 6 meters.
In our, quite large, I have to apartment so only 3x reposition to reach all corners.
The suction rolls, moreover, very smoothly afterwards.

Conclusion:

The Philips FC8477 / 91 PowerPro Compact PowerCyclone4 ECO is a really good, bagless vacuum cleaner in the true sense.
From energy efficiency to date he is also a very attractive price.
We are very satisfied and can recommend it with a clear conscience!
