The previous album "Mezzanine" is one of my absolute Favouriten in matters Triphop. By this, I was attention to the band and the whole genre. "100th Window" spread a similar mystical, deep and partly dark mood as its predecessor, but niemal depressed or negative. I particularly liked the singing of Sinnead o'Connor Tracks "A Prayer for England" and "What Your Soul Sings". The former is somewhat melancholy, but has a very haunting and incredibly beautiful melody. The latter can be classified as almost joyful harmony and a little bit. Both pieces are very melodic, but both have a very different effect. "Butterfly Caught" is probably the darkest piece on the disc and incredibly impressive. In particular, the oriental-sounding gloomy strings and Daddy Gs awesome dark voice. "Anti Star" is a very good completion and actually alone is worth the money for the CD, the song stands out a bit, perhaps because it is relatively fast and furious .. similar to "Inertia Creeps" from the previous album. 5 stars!! I wait for the next album, Massive Attack are a top band.
