These goods:
- Rechargeable: I was tired of having to change batteries, which were not always in the house when the mouse was empty.
- Ergonomic: This is pure, personal habit. I like them much better.
- Very accurate surface scanning: Unfortunately, you have to grab something deeper into their pockets for this criterion.
Everything else, such as programmable keys and other bells and whistles was not that important to me. After a few days I found this model. I ordered it and had the mouse now now two weeks into use. I must admit, I do not regret the purchase.
The mouse came with a battery (Sanyo eneloop). The USB charging cable, an extension of the USB receiver, USB mini-receiver and instructions totaled. A full battery holds good for 5 days at normal use. One can optimize (mouse driver), the runtime using the software. Provides you all the settings to economy mode, the Akkulauszeit extended to about 6 days.
Note: On the Logitech website you can download the Logitech mouse Center (software). This software works with this mouse does not! - For this you need the Logitech Gaming Center. I use the mouse with a MacBook (OS X). The mouse also works without the Logitech software - but there are not the fine adjustments.
Two little "quirks" has the mouse, however:
- Compared to the MX-Mouse This is at the top of not so "expansive". I lift the mouse sometimes in order to reposition itself on the desk. I'll do that with the thumb and little finger. The mouse slips ever out of his hand. But since this happened less and less, I guess, it is still the habit forming, at my old MX.
- The battery status is displayed briefly on the desktop, if 10% are achieved. The mouse is then made immediately. I would have a second display, with about 5%, desired as turning off can sometimes come unprepared. However, I must to write that I do not know if you can set up this point by software. I have the option at least can not be found.
Both "quirks" but do not bother me too much, so I prefer not release any point.
My conclusion: I would also recommend non-gamers, the mouse!
ADDENDUM (04/06/2014): The display of the battery status on the desktop but can show multiple times. I did it by accident in the "depths" of the "Logitech Gaming Centers" discovered: 25%, 10% and 5%.
