What I, however, at all do not like the game. The story that is told is relatively boring. The usual "Someone dies and someone wants revenge for" -Geschehen precisely. For half a star deduction, because in my opinion (for non-enthusiasts specifically) is the story of one of the most important criteria of such a game.
Furthermore, added that "playing together" from the unfortunately nothing will ever. At least on my card are hardly ever other players, so that's playing of missions against real opponents almost impossible. But if some games players should be visible on my card, but do not function joint missions, because nobody seems to desire / time / to have the interest, to accept the invitation. Here you can make the manufacturer only partly blame - but the game is (at least until now) only in single-player really playable. Since Ubisoft has however clearly advertised this item as a multiplayer game, there are still half a star deduction.
The keyword "single-player" forwards even to the next negative point: the missions. At least from titles like Need For Speed Rivals or even completely different genres such as GTA one is accustomed that one can deny missions in different ways - so also missions that personally are a maybe not too good, but are meisterbar other ways. Especially when keyword "Open World" this opportunity to tread different paths is very important. This, however, is lacking in "The Crew" unfortunately completely. The main mission you have in the intended order, by playing with the intended conditions - without ifs and buts. Especially for less talented players, this can degenerate into a real frustration towards the game. I myself am not an avid gamer and therefore had some missions so far again and try again and again - sometimes for several days. And the sad thing is that you get offered no alternative: simple If you manage not a mission, so no way around it, and the story is stagnating. If you then also has a very unhappy selected for the mission car or even put a new from the action gets (mostly at Dirt missions), see you every few minutes the "Retry" button press.
In the long run every amateur player simply annoying to just and you lose the desire for this game - which is a real shame. Therefore, here too (at least) one star deduction.
And did we last but not least even the ever-repeating preview scenes and sayings during the missions, even if it already once tried to 20th to create a mission. One must wait for the film sequence invites before you can skip this and the game loads at each repeat operation. During a race, we hear every time the same sayings of any callers. Somehow Ubisoft has here the whole not really well thought out - or is assumed that everyone is a natural and creates every mission right away. For these repetitions that a right to go again to the spirit, if you played it for the umpteenth time, there are still half a star deduction.
But at least there are beautiful cars, which can be pimp really well, right? Well, Jain. The cars are very nicely done, even if the damage model is always the same. But that leaves much to be desired with the pimp. Maybe I'm too spoiled by games like GTA V or Need For Speed: Underground, but I miss at The Crew quite a bit of tuning options. There are only a very manageable collection of bumpers and spoilers, a relatively large set of "Noname" wheels, which, however, also not be really determine the sizes and otherwise these pretty "Car Auseinader-building" effects, the one in the video always sees only eye-candy, as the performance upgrades do not change really much on the appearance of the individual motors and other parts. The performance upgrades are more in a points system, as a real performance parts for vehicles. A half star deduction for it.
Speaking of cars: What has me very disturbed were the other road users. This is of course a funny statement, from the position of "Raudis" in the game - but all so funny, it is not meant. An example: If you drive on a highway against the traffic, so the rest of the traffic changes absolutely nothing in his behavior. The other vehicles act as if they were nailed on an assembly line and would just strictly follow the band. One can honk or to drive at full speed to other participants, but remain unimpressed. Only when it pops change participants (game-physical reasons) its direction. It is a pity that it seems artificial intelligence not to give away in a 2014 published titles, adjust the course of the traffic to one's own driving behavior, so as to produce at least a touch of realism. Another half star less!
Realism is another good keyword: Rams to a truck, this remains perforce. Then an attempt is made this 18-tonner with its Jeep Grand Cherokee somehow push away, so this works effortlessly. Now arises, however, once a persecuting police car in front of one, so the car seems to fuse with the ground and can not move a millimeter. Once it so besides that, the police wedging one, you've lost. It is not possible to push the police cars off or boxes. Another half star less!
And I want all of them foresee that the police despite acceleration with nitrous oxide at the same point moves next to a once.
My personal conclusion is that Ubisoft and many so-called me. "Magazines" have unfortunately been mistaken with the advertising for this game. There is not a great multiplayer game on a gigantic map with countless opportunities. There is a step-by-step Missions game with all sorts of small Side-Missions, the one but not create that real progress in the game. If one finds his playful satisfaction in a car driving through a huge landscape and almost aimlessly to find any car wrecks, broadcast stations and other odds and ends, then you will be with The crew safely have fun. However, once you should times get stuck in a mission to do this until you manage either or gives up in frustration. Alternative routes to the main story to push forward, there is unfortunately no. The cutscenes are, the more often you have to see this, the more annoying. For people looking for the fierce struggle against the machine, the game is certainly top notch, for every 0815 player like me, the game unfortunately more frustration and disappointment as real gameplay.
In future I will probably advance no more games without reading before real opinions of non-gamers via the corresponding game. Finally, there are still a very wide extent between "I do not play" and "I am the most violent gamers of World" - this is not operated by The Crew in my opinion.
Hope this review for all not so ambitious casual players was far helpful than they burn no 70 for it.
