In "Mr. Wonderful" you now have the exact opposite. The album is compact and right in construction from start to finish. The Raps are as you would expect from Bronson. Neither better nor worse, so very good. Striking I found that to the album already in a sympathetic way appeared enormously familiar with the second hearing. Such things can backfire, and often just the first not so catchy albums later to my favorites. But nothing is boring. Did the album immediately bought and since then heard more often than average.
I find it interesting something that made me maybe if I had not heard it myself and HipHop expect first would abtörnen: The album has the vibe of a rock album, which is still increasing towards the end. He raps quite often and the beats are in accordance with, but there are always significant borrowings from the rock of the 70s and 80s. Here, too, the result is extremely pleasant. If you feel at times reminiscent of the more accessible pieces of geniuses like Frank Zappa (City Boy Blues) plus a Bronson raps, which is quite a bit quirky. But also a pretty good idea that works damn good in this case. Not even his occasional singing interferes with this, but loosens the whole tend not to.
Just because it has been able to fabricate a freshes, rocking, but above all authentic hip-hop album, without sounding even remotely wanted, and generally because Action Bronson with its for the HipHop then rather unusual biography own stories has to say, I can fully recommend the album.
