The setting pins are not bright blue, but pale, low contrast and unattractive!
Moreover, they are very shaky and adjust with the nail just fiddly. Here solid metal pins would have been a better solution.

Annoying is also the manual that is anything but intuitive-explanatory. Very confusing, very scarce.

For example, the light is to burn 20:30 to 21:30 h.

It is 19 clock.

Procedure:

Setting the clock: turn the rim as far as the arrow at 19 h shows
Thus, the clock is set. As long as the timer is in the socket, it will continue.
A battery does not have the equipment, the clock runs only when it is connected to the mains.

Sample function:
Main switch (rotary member, top left) is set to 1 = ON
Lamp Switch (light burns)

Switch Probes for the period from 20.30 to 21.30 h according to internal pressures (4 elements = 4 x 15 minutes).

Set the main switch (rotary member on the top left) to 0 = OFF
Thus, the circuit is interrupted (light goes out).
The timer is in standby.

At 20.30 h then turns the main switch automatically from 0 to 1, and the light burns to 21.30 clock. At 21.30 the main switch is again from 1 to 0, and the lights go out.

The switch probes remain on stand 20.30 to 21.30 h. So you can use this circuit on other days as often.
