In the absence of settings in the BIOS (UEFI or Legacy mode) installation of Windows does not work on a fresh SSD, when booting from DVD or USB. The installation is simply denied.
You have to walk a detour to make it. One has namely reset the notebook to factory settings, but with the desired SSD.
These are brought out the Asus Backtracker tool ([...]) and therefore equipped USB flash drive. Then removes all (!) Hard drives one (Namely all installed hard disks are reset) and plug into a new, desired SSD. After that you start from a USB stick and follow the instructions for resetting.
