This album, a compilation of various (not on the previous albums contained) Single-Tracks 1973-1976, the 76th-EP "Extended Play" and until that time unreleased solo version of "Casanova", contains the title track Bryan Ferry's probably the biggest hit ... but, although certainly a solid "party number", not one of my favorite Ferry. Very interesting on this record / CD Ferry's Roxy Music reinterpretations own pieces, which are all less extravagant and instead polished, but this major triumph therefore come: compact arranged and sung inimitable. In particular, "Re-make / Re-model", from the first Roxy album, seems completely rearranged: given way are the flashy, exuberant sounds and postmodern sound quotes ... in favor of a very clever way-radio version. The other songs are, as already mentioned, to further cover versions, and "Heart on my Sleeve" is emphasized as a very nice way to finish the album. At times, however - and this criticism is to be understood in the context of unquestionably high levels of Ferry's oeuvre - this shows the tendency towards tonal hyperglycaemia, which was then also listen to some tracks of the next album, "In Your Mind". Although it contains a number of beautiful photographs, so is not recommended "Let's Stick Together" as those entry Album who want to get an idea of the wide range of Bryan Ferry and especially its sound melancholy side. Who is on the other hand come once on the taste, this album should increase only because of the solo versions of Roxy songs. Referring to the high standard I stage a Ferry this album 3.5 to 4 stars ... but because every Bryan Ferry album m. E. compared to most other artists something special, absolutely Private has to be - if only by the voice - but then there's 4/5.
