Not this time on drums, but as a singer and pianist in particular has Emig closed to a new metal band together and even try something entirely new with Daniel Wicke (bass & vocals) and Dennis Otto (drums).
Instead of the usual guitar sound you'd expect in such a project, here the piano is used in the truest sense of the word as "Riff-drifting" instrument and gives the sound of In Legend a very special, only unusual, but accepted the same and then beloved component.
To be found on the plate mainly songs like "Pandemonium", "The Vortex" or "Heaven Inside", who see themselves as absolute Metal hammers and inviting after a few runs to sing along and do not want to go from the ear. My expectation that the songs could perhaps resemble the special occupation too was refuted positively. Each song is absolutely for himself and convinces with diversity and inherent complexity, so that the plate at no time is boring.
In addition to the heavy songs, there are also some quieter pieces and ballads (yes had in the albums title also on the disc), such as "Stardust" or Intrumental-piece "Yue".
The plate is thus recommended for every metal fan and if you are open to new musical ideas not only elsewhere. Therefore, give the chance to Legend and a listen to the album, you will not regret it!
In addition, I can also recommend everyone to visit a concert with Inlegend. I had the chance to Legend as the opening act for Van Canto seen last year and was absolutely thrilled!
