For the DVD in slipcase get a few goodies, such as postcards, soundtrack and two additional codes for "Miner Wars Arena" and "Miner Wars 2081" (both not yet tested).
Lone Star deduction I have to give, is the fact of compulsory registration and installtion of Steam. But this annoying Datensamml client of Steam accounts took me some time to make it with my internet security halfway secure and at the same time being able to play at all. Something may be important and lucrative for the industry, but my data eventually go just me something!
After installation and activation via Steam it starts directly. The game is based on the well-known and successful Minecraft. There seems to be a very active community in the background, which promotes the development of the game and constantly improving.
There are two game modes: Survival and Creative. I myself have not yet tested the survival mode, because there is so much to discover in Creativ mode and try that the 30 day trial period in the Vine program not just rich.
The graphics and sound in the game are good, if not outstanding. But it is very consistent and the focus is indeed in this type games somewhere else. After several attempts Lerning-by-doing, I finally played the tutorial and I would recommend it to anyone! The possibilities are simply too diverse and extensive than one would easily find out everything by trial and error. Otherwise, the frustration factor can sometimes rise quickly if something does not succeed, as one would have liked.
The game is future-oriented and -based without, however completely to play in a foreign universe, or drifting into any apparent / film worlds. It is stehts attention to the laws of physics and used realistic (or at least possible in the near future) technology. There is in clashes with objects damage to the listed objects that can be repaired or must in turn be replaced by exchange. The game features the playful way to become a small space engineer.
In Creativ mode you can completely let off steam, and the only limits are the physics and your imagination!
So you can recreate his own Star Destroyer from Star Wars ... the Enterprise and and and ... Although one finds here very quickly that the film world and the physics very often go another way ... ever tried a Star Destroyer only with engines at the stern to maneuver ;-)
There are a number of blocks for building, finished modules such as an infirmary and more. The colors are changeable. The control corresponds to the usual WASD standard, but can be changed at any time.
I was this game and its concept tied and enthusiastic! I would recommend, although it certainly does not bring the same fun for everyone only.
