- Fast text entry like on a computer keyboard
- Automatic cutting tool labels
- 10 poor policies in the device memory (but infinitely computer!) And some effects (underlined, framed, clipart pictures and emoticons in the device memory ... and huge possibilities on the computer there too)
- Printing of texts, graphics and barcodes at a resolution of 300 dpi
- Sharing of information and network settings
- Store over 500 labels on the label for recurrent use of the same patterns
- Rechargeable battery or mains
- Printing on DYMO D1 labels 6, 9, 12, 19, 24mm
- 1.6Kd
- 31.2 x 12.3 x 23.5 cm
Strengths and weaknesses:
- Keyboard impractical and responsive despite the size - considerable - of the machine: you better have prepared the upstream texts on his computer with the Dymo Label software dedicated (that will allow creative users to create labels of any kind and let go of design level and icons but also generate QR codes, which is impossible since the only machine)
- Weight and dimensions which can be prohibitive if we want to carry over labellers "classic" much cheaper!
- Ability to live on the rechargeable battery from the machine ... but little sense in sedentary (which will remain right time connected to an electrical outlet)
- Very fast and good quality printing on DYMO label: enjoy creative rendering flawless and can agree some fantasies in the design of ethical computer!
- Intuitive software available on PC or MAC (note: connecting the device to the computer via USB)
Verdict:
Coupled with software, the use of which is simple, intuitive and multiplies the opportunities offered by the label, this label is a powerful and efficient machine, which can print all kinds of labels in different format (provided you ribbon change it!).
But beware, it is a "desktop labeling" as the name (and price !!) indicates, its use is relevant only in the context of a sedentary use, connected to an ad vitam eternam Computer!
