Aubrey is a bland character for my taste. very traditional in its construction, it is mainly used to make a weight-cons who do Maxx seems that most "crazy" and "dangerous". Fragile certainties in these judgmental and yet she wants to psychology to help others, sometimes without realizing that she must let go.
Smooth, it will fall in love with the bad boy, not surprisingly, and burn the wings. The end will also think of many a little romance "destructive". The only person will be saved through his own will, not by Aubrey who will have a role more silent support.
Maxx meanwhile is a tormented soul character. Chaining bad choice, blind to what is before his eyes, it is typical of bad boy will lead others down with it. The author plays heavily on the contrast between Maxx and Aubrey, attracted while everything opposes them and want to save, taking the risk of destroying itself.
I liked some aspects of Maxx - his artistic sensibility and family, but also its role in the box (not drugs).
But if the characters are very classic, it is oddly intrigued by this novel. It has a side "voyeurism" and we can not break away. We want to know what will happen, how things are going wrong or rather if there will be a positive development. We meet to read almost without stopping to see how far things will go.
The end, which seems a bit conventional in some approaches, offers interesting twists to each of the two characters. I find myself really wanting to read more!
