Joussif and addictive!

Unfairly fire by critics even before its release, Knack is an excellent adventure game / action that incorporates the classic tricks of the genre with a realization that even if it is not perfect remains excellent. Expected as the showcase game of the PS4, we must admit that Knack does not necessarily look like a next-gen game but that does not mean actually a bad game, far from it! There we find all the ingredients of old-school platform games like Sonic because the way Knack has bounce on enemies to destroy them is very similar and in the same way, it remains alive until it is covered relics like the blue hedgehog that survives thanks to that gold rings collection. But Knack is a more complex and multifaceted hero of puny creature, fragile and mute can turn into a king-kongesque monster phenomenal firepower and loud speech. It will not be uncommon to send tanks to waltz out of hand in some episodes before being felled by an ordinary cockroach to the next level which is frustrating but fun in the end. This feature offers a rich and varied gameplay that will require from the player a minimum of reflection in order to make their way trying to survive as best they can in many very hostile levels while offering many recreational phases in Beat mode em All which you can destroy anything that comes to hand in a vague sense of invincibility. The superpowers Knack are extremely effective but should be used sparingly because they are not infinite and sorely lacking in some pretty difficult passages because the game is not easy, far from it. The graphic style is pleasant and colorful and especially all audiences. The aesthetics of the game is a curious blend of Wallace and Gromit and production of Pixar who swears a bit with the hyper-realistic games that are now used but the change makes a lot of finally well. The scenario is classic but works pretty well and sequencing of actions between phases and cutscenes is perfectly calibrated. The camera whose angles can sometimes destabilize is managed admirably and gives the game a very appreciable momentum to increase slightly the lifetime, the title is full of secret rooms and items to collect and classic trophies are obviously present. Only downside for me, some slowdowns are to be deplored especially when Knack uses his special powers but nothing too serious questions that concern the exploitation of the graphics capabilities of the console but given the level of detail and depth achieved in different field settings of the game, following is fairly promising. In short, Knack is not the game of the year but it is sufficiently rich and addictive keep you going for a while and you'll no doubt be charmed from the first minutes. So forget all the evil unfounded criticisms and make up your own mind!
