Destiny is a game where I'm back and torn and thus also some ups and downs have behind me, I can summarize my phases with the game after 50h GameTime times:
1) Giant anticipation before release
2) Getting enthusiasm by graphics and atmosphere in the prologue
3) Fast resignation by design flaws and no story
4) More frustration and sales plans already after just one day
5) Amazing fun at the first performing competitive multiplayer achievements
6) addictive looking for good Gear

The individual points of criticism have been so discussed here at some length, in summary, I can say that the game was designed very unbalanced. While graphics, network code, engine, competition in the crucible, and Shooter feeling Grinding were very well done, the following criticisms nevertheless, remarkably severe significant:
- Armseelige story, you could not deal with an ambitious young author at half a billion budget? For a tepid million you could nevertheless get a respectable story - the clichéd slobbering in the game acts as if it was incidentally brought by an intern on paper. Each of the hundreds of Star Trek episodes in recent decades has a better story, there would have been just so much more splashing around, what a pity!
- Armseelige tasks in PvE - going from point A to point B, killing enemies there, sometimes a boss, all there is! Even very weak - very, very, very weak! Why are there outside of the few cutscenes not one (!) NPC on the planet, why there is no basal mystery why no Endbosskämpfe with a little head, why (almost) no vehicles / machines at the enemy, why does not it time someone protect, something disable etc. - (!) almost every modern game creates such a thing, and that would be only the basics of innovation, I will not say anything.
- Armseelige characterization - who are the types in the cutscenes? Why is the fractions (Dead Orbit etc.) so do not (!) Told? Man oh man!
- Armseeliges Matchmaking - why there is only chance-based matchmaking? Why not lobby of one example "Looking for Warloard for Heroic Strike" or whatever can enter? Why can the members not just see his clan in the menu and be grouped? Every MMO has anything like that, how can one forget - is completely incomprehensible to me. Ultima Online was already better decades ago! And in 2014, you have to now with destinylfg. (Com) /. Appeals (net) ...
- Armseeliger extent - equal times about a Borderlands 2 DLC, such as Tiny Tina Dragon Fortress; the playing time is achieved by continuous grinding, low drop Council and the same old areas / missions with stronger, that is not smarter but tougher, opponents - that's like Super Mario with only two levels and an ever higher density opponents

Why do I still played over 2 days? It's bursting with fun in the crucible to have a good run, you would be even the primitive Engegner with felt 10 million HP and damage output of a nuclear bomb to have shot and converted to hop like a child when you make Finally Drops times exoitsches Gear. All in all, the game looks unfinished, too little tested and not well thought out in many places. I think a lot is still reingepatcht, also on the raids is still a lot of co-op fun to, but you'd rather have half a year later and to go for ready to market.
